This is the cover of the March issue of Makaar Monthly. The makaar pictured is Li'iri...that drawing was done by Stormflyer and she holds to rights to it. She gave me permission to use it for this.
I spent several hours putting this cover together...color choices, getting the text just right, thinking up what to write, placement of images and words....it was more work than i thought it'd be, but it was fun. I wouldn't mind doing this again, actually..might do a series of covers.
Everything done in photoshop, except Storm's pic, of course. The pic itself can be seen in her gallery, if anyone is interested.
